Jackie Santos

Dixon Drums endorsed artist Jackie Santos has enjoyed a storied career as a working
drummer. A proud Cape Verde native, Jackie’s dedication to drumming has led him to
stages across the globe, alongside musical legends Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye, Chucky
Berry, John Cafferty and Michael Jackson – to name a few.

Jackie has shared his insatiable passion for percussion with students at Berklee College
of Music for over three decades, constantly emphasizing the significance of a consistent
work ethic as well as a true love for the artform. Jackie recognized that a similar
philosophy was held by Dixon Drums and formed a partnership founded upon a shared
commitment to advancing the art of drumming.

Dixon is proud to produce a custom Artisan Maple kit that honors Jackie’s Cape
Verdean heritage – the place Jackie’s beat first began.
