Percossa is a group of four percussionists. The feeling for rhythm is in their blood, as is the feeling for the theatrical. This is what makes Percossa so unique: dance, acrobatics, mime, shadow play, magic – all accompanied by virtuoso percussion pieces.

A performance by Percossa is like a rollercoaster ride.  Up and down it goes with unexpected corners while a hidden loop-the-loop could show up at any moment. With dizzying speed Percossa takes its audience from one music style to the next. Yet, percussion is not the primary purpose of a performance, but only serves as a means to an end. This is why Percossa is sometimes called a “theater without words”. Percossa’s musical force explodes to breathtaking
proportions by its theatrical setting. A bit circus and a bit rock concert. Full of unrestrained energy and universal humour. And always delivered in a manner that is both original and openly obstinate.

There are a lot of percussion groups in the world, there’s only one Percossa. Percussion will never be the same.
