Artisan

Just like our Artisan series drum sets, our Artisan snares are using many selected woods and metals to perform the best sound choices. We test snares and record their sounds daily to find our preferred tones. Our dedicated studio staff are working hard to analyze our snare sounds. Each Artisan snare needs to be played by a number of drummers and modified by their feedbacks before official introduction.

We also include world-renowned drum maker Chris Brady’s selected wood in our Artisan series. The prime Australian woods are selected by Mr. Brady’s long-term drumming experience as well as his insistence on quality and sound.

Signature

Dixon Signature Series Snare Drums are designed to meet the specific recording and touring needs of our top artists. Our product specialists work closely with each signature candidate to determine the combination of materials and features which result in their signature sound and become their legacy.
